I'm working on a project where we use:- Postgres for our production app database - Airtable for our internal team (support, ops) The challenge: keeping them in sync without writing fragile scripts.Curious what others in this situation are doing:1. Are you using Zapier? (I find it too slow)2. Custom scripts with webhooks? (maintenance nightmare for us)3. Some other tool I haven't discovered?4. Did you just pick one and stick with it?We're syncing about 5K records and need changes to propagate in under a minute ideally. Any experiences or recommendations appreciated!

I’m loving interface extensions so far! It’s super easy to get up and running. I have an external website that uses the Airtable API that I think would work much smoother if it were an interface extension and inside AT proper. The only problem is… it’s in Vue, and it’s way too complicated a project to rewrite from scratch in React.Assuming the interface extensions team isn’t planning on making a Vue SDK as well (...unless? 😳), has anyone tried inserting a Vue component into React, specifically inside the Airtable Blocks SDK, where no Vite config file is available?

Hello everyone,I’m a junior data analyst and recently I was asked at work to integrate new data that is external to our management system. This data consists of Excel spreadsheets stored in Airtable. While researching, I noticed that there are several ways to integrate this data.For example, one could use “bridge” solutions like OneDrive or SharePoint, or connect directly to Airtable via its API.I was able to connect directly using the API (after creating a Personal Access Token), performing a blank query and using an M script to retrieve over 20,000 records. However, I would like to hear from more experienced people whether this could be the best approach compared to using a bridge solution. I personally think it is, but I would appreciate the opinion of experts.I have tested this with free accounts and demo Excel files with over 20,000 records, and I can retrieve them both directly via API and using OneDrive or SharePoint.Additionally, I understa

I built a small site using Softr + Airtable (Free plan, working as a data sourcing). My site reaches Airtable API calls litmit very soon every month. Just a few days, the limit of 1000 calls has run out. I don’t think there are so many visitors to my site. Hello,I’m curious if anyone here has connected Airtable to Lightspeed restaurant U Series POS?  Either directly from Airtable to Lightspeed or indirectly with a third party like Zapier.   I’m trying to pull daily sales and labor data from my POS into Airtable.  We are working on creating better internal tools that our managers can have access to.  Tools that would track our main expenses like labor and COGS.   I’m having a hard time getting the connection done.  Airtable is not currently an integration partner with Lightspeed U Series.  Neither is Zapier or something like Make.com.  So I’m looking for someone with experience with these specific platforms. The people at Lightspeed have not been super helpful.  I know I can’t be the first person to try to pull data to Airtable (or even something like Google Sheets).   Thanks

I’m building an integration that needs to sync ~6,600 records from an external API to Airtable, ideally in under 1 minute.Currently I’m hitting the standard REST API limits (10 records/request, 5 requests/second = ~2-3 minutes minimum, but in practice it’s taking 10-13 minutes due to network latency).I’ve looked into: ∙ Sync API (CSV) - but the table becomes read-only, and I’m seeing significant processing delays after the request completes ∙ REST API with performUpsert - works but slow at scaleHas anyone found a faster approach to bulk insert/update thousands of records? Any workarounds or techniques I’m missing?For context: manual CSV import through the UI takes ~5 minutes for the same data.

I’m trying to use the new ChatGPT integration with Airtable - specifically to have ChatGPT pull data from one of my bases in Airtable base . I’ve configured the settings in ChatGPT to connect to airtable, but Chat GPT is still asking me several times to confirm it has access to my base and other data points in Airtable. Is there a way to configure this to stop asking this question? It seems to be slowing it down. 

Is it my impression or the latest version of the SDK removed support for defining a table as a custom parameter? My extension reads data from another table as support for that has been recently added. In order to avoid hardcoding things, I was allowing users to select a table. This was supported  (see link below). However, the latest version of the SDK does not seem to support that. (^0.0.0-experimental-e7419444f-20251120). I’ve updated my code so the parameter is now just a string. It seems to be working. i keep getting ‘Invalid permissions, or the requested model was not found. Check that both your user and your token have the required permissions, and that the model names and/or ids are correct.‘This error from n8n. any idea how to fix it?

Hi everyone,I’m looking to develop an Airtable extension that relies on some wasm library loaded by the extension script, and some Web Workers started asynchronously on user request (NOT background or service workers, just plain WebWorkers). The wasm scripts are loaded using standard `WebAssembly.instantiateStreaming` API. Does anyone know if there are any surprising sandboxing limitations imposed by Airtable extension architecture for this?

I have list of keywords and URLs. I want script, once in a month, go through those URLs and find if that keyword is still on that URL. Based on result, update field with the status, Exist / DoesNotExist I want to track my backlinks for SEO purpose, they are still live or removed. Any ideas?

I’m looking for an extension that would allow me to receive SMS to a specific number, and have that populate field (or Create Record) in a base. Reading up on Twilio and Whippy and some others, and it looks like there are plenty of options for sending SMS, but can’t find anything there about receiving one. Any insights on what’s available or maybe I missed something with the capability of those tools.

Hi I'm working with Airtable Forms and using a single-select field for a Sample ID (which is a number). I'd like users to be able to add a new Sample ID directly from the form if it doesn't already exist, instead of being limited to the existing options.Is there any way to enable this "Add new option" behavior for single-select fields in Airtable Forms? Or would I need a workaround—like using a linked record or setting up an automation—to allow new Sample IDs to be created automatically?Appreciate any guidance

I am a business specialist for a company and I also teach workout classes for the women in our office 3 times a week. I have a fitness Airtable base where I have added all the exercises I like with a muscle group field. I am trying to find a way to automatically generate a workout to reduce the time I have to spend coming up with a set of exercises. For example, we worked chest and triceps yesterday so today I want to generate a workout that includes x number of exercises with x number being bicep workouts, x number being back workouts, and x being ab workouts.I have very minimal developer experience but I can edit and update pieces of a script if given the outline. 

Hello,I think I'm at my limits with trying to get Airtable to function as we really envisioned.  Anyone know the best place to find Airtable consultants with likely programming abilities?  A few of the things we really wanted to do were:1. Create a custom form that goes to contacts and their selections would filter back into our main table but this needs to be very limited with selections as certain items we code on contacts are internal only.2.  A mass emailer.  We use Airtable as a giant database for our independent contractors and code them by areas they cover and preferences.  We have Zapier and an external operations system and would love the ability to integrate all so that we can send a mass email to a designated list of names/email addresses based on a filter that looks nice and inputs the key job data available from our operations software (SQL Server database).  Have struggled with this one and even though we have t

Hi Community!I’m attempting to create a webhook and attach some additional info for all he POST requests that are to be made for the specified notification url.I want to call my notification url and specify some parameters there.AFAIK its not possible to use url query parameters there and specify them while creating a webhook.Are there other options? Hi- I’m trying to use Airtable to automatically fill fields in a document based on the Airtable fields. I found the perfect app that does just this, however there are NO videos from others or discussion on this. I’ve been testing this app, and it works great! Except for a date field. It seems there is a bug in the app as no matter what, if I make the Date field a text field, a single select, a linked, no matter what it just won’t pick it up. I did email the developer but wondering if anyone else has had luck with this. I do not prefer to use Zapier or a 3rd party app. I do see the option for an automation but struggling with that as well. So far this seems to be the best option if only I could figure out this date issue.
