Ever played comment fic? Snippets of sensual, sweet, action packed goodness that fit in a comment?

Let's cover some basics.

The Rules:
  • Anyone can leave a prompt. Or two. Or five. Have fun, but please remember to show some
    restraint for the sake of our beloved Code Monkeys!
  • Anyone can write a prompt. Or two. Or twenty.
  • Make sure your comment is comment-sized. If a prompt inspires you to commit greater fic,
    feel free to link to that fic with an excerpt.
  • Multiple comment ficlets can be committed for the same prompt.
  • Thank your fic provider, it encourages them to commit fic more frequently.
  • Have fun!
  • Pimp!
  • Any flaming, negativity, or just plain ol' meanness will be deleted at the discretion of the mods.
  • Comments don't have to be porn, but we all like it when it is!
  • Please do not utilize spoilers in your prompts.
    We want everyone to feel comfortable writing and prompting!



Themes & Prompts
Okay, now maybe you want to know how this thing works? I thought you might. Here's a brief rundown.
  • Monday-Friday are theme days. Saturday will be Free for All and Sunday is Lonely Prompt Day.
  • Want to be a guest host?
    Contact our Keeper of the Calendar simplyn2deep and she will put you on the calendar.
  • Hosts will be responsible for starting the day's thread. They will also pick the theme for the day.
  • Prompts may be genre specific, fandom specific or open to all fandoms. If you have questions, feel free to contact one of the mods.
  • Once the host has posted the day's thread, people come along and comment with a prompt.
    While there is currently no limit to the number of prompts you can leave, please show restraint.
    Don't leave more than five prompts in a row - we want everyone to feel like they can play!
  • Please be sure to format your prompt properly, as it will help our code monkeys code up the links

Format for posting prompts:

For single fandom: Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Example: Supernatural, Sam/Dean, cozy

For a Crossover: Fandom/Fandom, pairing (or character), prompt
Example: Stargate Atlantis/Leverage, Ronon/Eliot, blood and bruises
