Command Line is a program that will let you run programs and open directories by entering just a command.
You can set the program to look for executable files in several paths in your drive. The program will maintain a list of those files, and will reside as a tiny icon in your system tray. To run any of the listed programs, all you will have to do is open this tool by right-clicking on the icon, enter the name of the executable file, and then hit the ENTER key. The program will run just as if you had just clicked on its icon.
Using Command Line will let you save time, because you will not need to open the Start Menu, look for the right program entry, and click on it, or have your desktop cluttered with direct access icons. As an example, it is always quicker to run Audacity just by typing "audacity" in a command line than going to Start/Programs/Audacity.
