First, lets take a look at last years predictions:

- ✅Warriors make the playoffs and lose in the quarter finals – Semi-finals actually!
- Stock Market (almost perfect predictions!)
- ✅Nasdaq 20k ➡️ 23k. (Actual 23.5k)
- ✅Dow Jones 44k ➡️ 49k. (Actual 49k)
- ❌Bitcoin 104k ➡️140k (actual 88k)
- ✅Climate change bad (Source)
- ❌Google / Meta anti-trust attacks from the DOJ – (Actual nothing burger)
- ✅✅Elon Musk will use government to personally enrich himself
- ✅No new dog
- ✅❌Go to gym – (Actual is B-, not as much as I need)
- ✅No new battery tech in production
Decent win/loss record but I don’t think I pushed the envelope much. I said nothing about AI.
2026 Predictions
Again, some wishful thinking here. I can’t be a “chicken little“.
- November elections have some shenanigans, but not full scale right wing takeover of the government.
- Democrats win House of Representatives
- Senate still leans Republican 51-49
- House impeaches Trump right away, nothing in Senate
- After mid-terms AOC announces Senate run in NY. Gavin Newsome starts his presidential campaign.
- Government shuts down in first quarter for new record period
- Trump has a serious medical issue and its continuously suppressed
- Long shot: Ukraine and Russia settle. Ends up being a mostly back-to-the way it was.
- Google and Open AI duke it out, back and forth. No bubble burst, but lots of talk about it. No other technology news other than better and better models. No AGI.
- No financial crisis
- Stock Market
- Nasdaq 23k ➡️ 26k
- Dow Jones 49k ➡️ 52k
- Bitcoin 88k ➡️100k
- Warriors trade Johnathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield for somebody uninteresting mid-season. They get close, but fail to make the playoffs. They should trade Draymond Green while they could still get value for him. Honestly, this season has been hard to watch.
- Ill go out on a limb and say Denver Nuggets win the championship. Jokic is just ridiculous.
- No new dog, once again. Getting closer though. He will be 14 this year.
- New tree in the front yard.
Just like 2025, this year feels super weird. Total civilization collapse or just another year; who knows? It feels exhausting living like this.
