Join cartoonist and comics devices curator Reimena Yee as she introduces the work of comics scholars and educators Scott McCloud (Understanding Comics), Dr. Neil Cohn (Speaking in Pictures) and Nick Sousanis (Unflattening). Together they will discuss the exciting developments in comics academia, and how cartoonists and academics benefit from each other’s expertise.
A 12-page zine showcasing the devices in this library as of 2023. Perfect for students, teachers and anyone who needs a quick, in-person reference if there's no wi-fi available.
We accept proposals of new devices, comics examples and any additional content to strengthen the practical usability and academic robustness of the library.
We acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands on which this library originates (the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation) and on which its contributors reside around the world. We pay our respects to the people of the Kulin Nation, all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, as well as First Nation Elders overseas, past and present.
