I feel bad that I haven't been around much...the loss of a dear Livejournal freind has caused this in a big way...not that my other freinds aren't important, just that she seemed to bring me here.. I've been thinking of deleating my account...I'm not saying this for dramitc value, but more for knowing if anyone still wants me to hang around and update every so often..,however rare the updates  are.....I thank you all for your interest in my life....my lack of contribution doesn't mean I don't have an intense intrest in your life, I just have had a rough time..Love you all!

Can't seem to get through a Summer these past few yeas without someone I cherish passing away. Grandpa, Daddy, Great Aunt Anna,
Grandma....and now,  with a heavy heart,  I say goodbye to a dear friend I met here on Livejournal years ago, I think through photographers, tiramisuz passed away Sunday after a very valiant battle with cancer, and I mean very valiant. I now know what it means when people say "they fought to the end"...she truly did. I will miss her upbeat, positive, understanding nature....she was a true blue person who was a gift to all who crossed her path. God speed, and always know you will be in my heart Suz.  Love you dear friend!!

I'm so blessed to have a hubbie, not to mention two boys, who go on drives with me. David drives me like a chauffeur, never complains when I yell...PULL OVER! And the boys never complain when the rides take a while...

Yesterday was no exception...

Here are a couple of photos....

This one from a couple of years ago...

And this one from yesterday.....

They decided to wait on surgery for dad as they wanted to do a biopsy first. It is a malignant tumor, and they will either do chemo or radiation to shrink it before they do surgery. They took out a quart of fluid while they did the biopsy. Now it's just waiting for the doctor to decide which step will be best. I worry most about my dad's attitude. He is very scared and very sad. I totally understand, who wants a cancerous tumor in them? I just want him to stay positive....that's half the battle when your sick...

Yesterday David ended up not having to work, so we decided to go on a drive, we went past Mom and Dad's and asked them if they wanted to go, but Daddy wasn't sure, because his back starts to hurt, and well, he didn't want to be a bother. Anyways, we went up to Mineral hoping to get to a couple of lakes near Lassen, but they said they were frozen, so we decided to wait til the thaw. We ended up going up to Childs Meadows and boy am I glad we did....

Do you remember this photo I took a couple of years ago?

Well, when we went yestrday....it looked like this......

It was a beautiful day full of storm clouds and even ducks in the fields....I'll share more later....

I've been aching to go for a wild-flower drive, as there are so many due to us getting rain this Winter....but with David working so much, and the gas prices the way they are...well, drives just aren't as abundant as they used to be. But yesterday afternoon, we went over to Mom and Dad's to take some things over to help Dad transfer VHS's to DVD's...and well, we ended up leaving our computer guru Jared and Travis with him and David and I took a short little drive down the road.....boy we found some pretty scenery.....here's the first I'd like to share....

This just caught my eye because of the rain clouds overhead were getting sooo dark....not to mention the Saltcedar along the creek bed in the back...It always amazes me how pink those bushes get!!
