The 2025-2026 deadline to request a Harvard Student Loan was 5/31/2026, and the 2025-2026 deadline to request a Federal Direct Loan was 5/8/2026, as the academic year ended 5/16/2026.
The 2026-2027 Student Loan Request Form will be updated in late June 2026 for the upcoming academic year.
How Much Can I Borrow?
The amount and loan type you can request/receive is determined by your class year, student contribution amount, whether you are receiving need-based Harvard grant aid, and your federal aid eligibility.
