Today I discovered that all my self-pings had disappeared. On further investigation, I found that self pings on the same URL and domain had been ticked. I did not tick these, so assume that something might have happened in an update.

I have unticked the boxes now, but am now wondering what would be the best way to reinstate my self-pings. Maybe I am misusing the technology, but I use self pings to link to and build upon past posts.

I have been having issues with adding a feature image lately on Read Write Respond. The system registers the image as it shows up in the social media preview provided by Yoast SEO.

I am assuming that this somehow relates to the theme as I tested out two other themes and they worked fine. I also updated to the latest version of Autonomie and am running WordPress 5.5.3

David, I am having issues with the new version of Post Kinds. Although I am able to publish posts, I am finding that the content is disappearing from the screen in the editor for some posts once published:

I am also finding that some links are being stripped from Response Properties when I publish. For example, I tried posting this issue from my site, but it kept removing the Github URL when I press ‘publish’.

Just as it would be useful to filter comments by refbacks, it would be useful to be able to turn refbacks into ‘comments’ or replies as is possible with webmention mentions. At the moment all that is possible is to approve such mentions, such as posts in the IndieWeb Chat. However, it does not seem possible to turn these into comments and therefore display the full text.

I think that it would be good to be able to store OPML subscriptions externally. This is what Inoreader allows users to do.

I also imagine that allowing users to subscribe would mean that one could use any form of storage, whether this is Google (as referred to in this request) or WordPress.

I like the listening statistics feature, but I often want to know more about my habits, more explicitly, and to be able to work with that data a bit.
Being able to track/download events such as time of playback, time of stopping, episode timestamp of start/stop, sleep timer timeout, or sleep timer interrupted, would be really interesting for me.
I write scripts that graoh and analyse my behaviour from exported data from mood tracker apps/my exported calendar, and often podcast addict is a good indicator of when i actually slept, or how I was feeling during my commute to/from work.

I think that this would be really useful. I would love to use this data to develop a monthly review of some sorts.

There should be a way to integrate with IFTTT.

For example, I share my news items of interest to Diigo, which then (through IFTTT) posts to Blogger and Twitter, without duplicates.

If I could have podcast episodes that I finished at a predetermined level (or even via a manual share) sent to IFTTT that triggered a recipe already in-place to distribute my shared content as designed (Blogger and Twitter, simultaneously and without duplicates).

IFTTT is very simple and extremely useful, so an integration with Podcast Addict — one of my top three most-used apps — would be great.

I think it would be good if Podcast Addict was able to integrate with IFTTT. Although it is possible to share to Twitter, there are times when I would like to share with other sites and spaces, such as Diigo or my own website.

Even better than integrating with IFTTT would be to provide webhooks that could be integrated with IFTTT. This is what Inoreader has done. Doing so what then open up the options to any number of applications.

adds support for responding to and interacting with other sites using the standards developed by the Indieweb Community – dshanske/indieweb-post-kinds

I have found a few quirks with the new release. One thing is that when I try and publish a ‘Like’ using URL Forwarder it populates the title but does not include the link.

I will continue testing and try to make note of any consistencies.

Like John, I too am having issues with Response Properties being striped out. I am wondering if it relates to particular kinds as this post worked find.

It also seems to have broken my bookmarklets generated using URL Forwarder.

Been siting on this problem for a while, but I have a few stray widgets in my WordPress installation of ReadWriteRespond. Initially, I thought that it might be a theme-based problem, but this does not seem to make a difference:

No matter what I add or delete, the widgets still exist.

I saw @jgmac1106 mention about totally reinstalling WordPress again. Maybe that is what is required? Just wondering if anyone has any guides or considerations with doing this (on new ground,) Or maybe I am just jumping the gun.

I am not sure if it is the same experience, but sometimes when I use URL Forwarder on my phone or my bookmarklet on the desktop, I just get the ‘Response Properties’ box and nothing else. If I create a new post and paste the URL, most times it works.

Maybe it has something to do with the URL? The added information? It has always mystified me, but I have learnt to live with it.

I will capture an image next time it happens.

I remember Alice Keeler explaining how Google triage the feedback results in order to identify aspects to improve. I know where to go to find just the new Sites, where though do I actually post feedback though, such as the inability to filter Drive by new Sites, inability to copy or deploy Sites as templates and option to use Google Apps Scripts.
