1. Project Coordination and Management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Work Package 1 ensures the continuous and smooth progress of the project, the quality and timeliness of deliverables, the adherence to rules and regulations and the overall realisation of COESO\u2019s vision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is responsible for launching the second Pilot group Open Call and supervising their selection. VERA\u2019 s services are: (1) discover people and funding opportunities via discovery interfaces; (2) enable “collaboratories” through VERA’s projects dashboards, the integrated messaging system and existing collaborative tools and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lead beneficiary: Net7<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Main contact: Tiziana Lombardo<\/strong>, lombardo[at]netseven.it<\/p>\n\n\n\n Work Package 4 facilitates and makes the search for Citizen Science funding more efficient and triggers new funding opportunities for Citizen Science projects. It accomplishes this through three main activities: (1) conducting a landscape study on Citizen Science funding, (2) integrating a funding database tool on VERA, and (3) engaging with funders to advocate for more social sciences and humanities Citizen Science opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lead beneficiary: Max Weber Stiftung \u2013 Deutsche Geisteswissenschaftliche Institute im Ausland (MWS)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Main contact: Kelly Achenbach<\/strong>, achenbach[at]maxweberstiftung.de<\/p>\n\n\n\n Work Package 5 observes how the groups involved in the Pilots use the Virtual Ecosystem for Research Activation (VERA), it detects ethical issues raised by those activities, and it analyses how participants combine scientific requirements and activism concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lead beneficiary: <\/a>Sciences Po<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Main contact: Dominique Boullier<\/strong>, dominique.boullier[at]sciencespo.fr<\/p>\n\n\n\n Work Package 6 introduces project participants to transmedia approaches toward facilitating and augmenting scientific and collaborative processes.
