Settings
In the myCred General Settings section, the admin can configure the duration, enable instant notifications, and more.
- Go to Admin Dashboard > myCred > General Settings.
- Navigate to the Notifications Plus section.
Duration
Within the duration option, the admin can specify the number of seconds before a notice is automatically dismissed after being displayed to the user. Set to zero to disable this feature.
Backend Settings
- Enter the desired number of seconds in the Duration field.
- Click the Update Settings button.
Frontend Impact
- Go to the website.
- Place the order. Once the order is placed, a points notification will appear, which will disappear after 5 seconds because we have set the duration to 5 seconds in the backend.
Lifespan
The lifespan option defines how many days a user’s notification is stored before it is automatically deleted.
Backend Settings
- Enter the desired number of days in the Lifespan field..
- Click the Update Settings button.
Padding
The padding option sets the pixel distance between the notification box and the edges of the screen, applied horizontally or vertically depending on the notification’s position.
Backend Settings
- Enter the desired number of pixels in the Padding field.
- Click the Update Settings button.
Frontend Impact
- Go to the website.
- Place the order. Once the order is placed, a points notification will appear, with the padding in pixels defined in the backend.
Instant Notifications
The Instant Notifications feature lets the admin display notifications in real time, removing the need for users to refresh the page to see updates.
Backend Settings
- Click the Enable Instant Notifications checkbox.
- Once enabled, a new option labeled Update Frequency will appear. Enter your desired number of seconds in this field.
- Click the Update Settings button.
Frontend Impact
- Go to the website.
- Place the order. Once the order is placed, a points notification will appear without the need to refresh the page.
Styling
The styling option enables the admin to display the notification popup in the top left, top right, bottom left, and bottom right corners of the screen.
Backend Settings
- Choose the preferred option from the available selections.
- Click the Update Settings button.
