| The airdate for this show is the second day of the 8-day Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
I recorded this show before the massacre at Bondi Beach in Australia when 15 Jews were murdered and 38 more wounded in an antisemitc attack at a first night of Hanukkah celebration. The murder victims included a 10-year-old child, two rabbis and an elderly Holocaust survivor. There could have been many more deaths but for the actions of a heroic Muslim bystander, Ahmed al-Ahmed, who was himself wounded when he disarmed one of the two terrorists committing the massacre. During Nefesh Mountain’s Hannukah concert, you will not hear any applause because the concert was recorded during Hannukah on December 12, 2020, without a live audience, at the height of the Covid pandemic. |
