CobView

CobView is a small application that allows you to preview image files and check the properties of any file just by right clicking and selecting the CobView option on My PC or Windows Explorer.

Once the properties of the selected file are shown you can copy to clipboard or export them to a txt file. CobView works with plug-ins in order to show the properties, therefore the properties that will be shown depend on the file extension. It could sound iterative because Windows already does this function, but the advantage with CobView is that you can preview and check the properties in the same window. The only disadvantage is that you cannot zoom in the image nor edit it. It only allows you to fit to window or show the actual size. Nevertheless it allows you to add third party plug-ins or modify the already existing ones inside the configuration window of CobView (recommended for advanced users). OS supported: Windows 98, NT, 2000, 2003, and XP (NT based systems require administrator permission in order to run this program).
