The contribution proposes an analysis of a selection of toponymic glosses to the Bible d’Acre (BA... more The contribution proposes an analysis of a selection of toponymic glosses to the Bible d’Acre (BA) contained in the ms. Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, nouv. acq. fr. 1404 and in the ms. of the Occitan version Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, fr. 2426 and examines some aspects concerning their transmission, in order to verify the validity of the hypotheses formulated by previous critics. The article discusses, on the one hand, the presence of some inaccurate indications, which reveal a concrete difficulty in locating biblical toponyms no longer in use, and identifies, on the other hand, the main sources d’Outremer from which the glosses would have been drawn, in order to demonstrate that several models and scribes have intervened in the margins of the BA.

Il contributo ricostruisce le reti degli scriptoria che promossero la diffusione del Dialogo negl... more Il contributo ricostruisce le reti degli scriptoria che promossero la diffusione del Dialogo negli ambienti ecclesiastici e laici tra Quattro e Cinquecento. Le note di possesso, i colophon, così come gli aspetti più strettamente codicologici degli esemplari, oltre alla consultazione degli inventari, hanno permesso, in diversi casi, di risalire ai nomi e ai luoghi legati alla diffusione ed alla fruizione dell'opera, dalla fine del Trecento, a ridosso dalla morte di Caterina, fino alle soglie del Cinquecento, prima del dilagare della tradizione a stampa. In questo modo, si è venuto a profilare un primo quadro di analisi, dal quale emergono due principali direttrici di diffusione del testo, legate da una parte all’attività dell’Osservanza domenicana e dall’altra alla circolazione all’interno delle Certose promossa da Stefano Maconi.

Nell’ambito del progetto di edizione critica del Dialogo della divina provvidenza (1377-78) di Ca... more Nell’ambito del progetto di edizione critica del Dialogo della divina provvidenza (1377-78) di Caterina da Siena, l’articolo propone un censimento aggiornato della tradizione dell’opera della santa e la recensio di tutti i testimoni manoscritti e degli incunaboli, tenendo in considerazione anche una parziale collazione delle due versioni latine complete del testo. Sulla base dei loci critici individuati su tutta la lunghezza del Dialogo e dopo aver identificato l’archetipo, le principali famiglie, i gruppi e i sottogruppi, si propongono due stemmata codicum, che descrivono la possibile configurazione della tradizione, rispettivamente per le porzioni dell’opera identificate nei libri I-III (capp. I-CXXXIV) e IV-V (capp. CXXXV-CLXVII).
As part of the critical edition project of saint Catherine of Siena’s Dialogo della divina provvidenza (1377-78), the article offers an updated census of the tradition of this mystical treatise and the recensio of all manuscripts and incunabula, including a partial collation of the two complete Latin versions of the work. On the basis of the loci critici identified and from the demonstration of the archetype, main families, groups and subgroups, we have traced two stemmata codicum, which give an account of the possible configuration of the tradition for books I-III (chapters I-CXXXIV) and books IV-V (chapters CXXXV-CLXVII).

Through a codicological, stylistic and ecdotical investigation, the paper aims to reconstruct the relationship linking the two versions and their circulation milieus, finally returning to the vexata quaestio of the attribution of the text to Catherine of Siena.

Ce poème en octosyllabes, qui s’inscrit dans la tradition des novas rimadas, est caractérisé par un mélange d’éléments stylistiques et littéraires issus de la tradition des troubadours occitans, et d’images récurrentes dans les œuvres narratives catalanes et même françaises. À travers un examen de la scripta, nous tenterons de résumer les traits les plus caractéristiques de la koinèlittéraire occitano-catalane à laquelle le texte appartient.Mots-Cles: analyse linguistique ; koinè occitano-catalane ; littérature narrative ; novas rimadas ; chan-sonnier catalan.

This octosyllabic poem, which belongs to the tradition of the novas rimadas, is distinguished by a mixture of stylistic and literary elements derived from the Occitan troubadour tradition and also by images that recur in Catalan and French narrative works.
