Build cities, right in your own backyard!

Every December, Santa Clara First Baptist constructs a small chunk of Bethlehem right in the parking lot, complete with buildings, market booths, live animals (including a camel), and lots and lots of sand. That's our pageant area for the upcoming weekend; we run the entire thing five times a night for four nights, and let everyone explore the town in between performances as they please. Being home the entire month for the first time since I started college, I actually got involved this time, as one of the shepherds. (Unfortunately, they didn't need any more centurions. Also no more people with speaking lines. *shrug*)

Dress rehersal was today, and of course it rained. Oh well, better today than tomorrow.

Oh yeah... and the inside joke for this year: Donna Hampton is playing the innkeeper. *silence* ...Ergo, "The Hampton Inn." *crickets chirp* Oh, forget it.

If you're curious, the official site is up here. Standing invite to anyone who actually happens to be in the area over the next four days.

"Heart of Gold" provides another, absurdly obvious example of this. Inara catches Mal leaving another woman's bed, and acts as if nothing is wrong. Her work "keeps her from being a prude" about sex,…

I have finished my first run (with Dara) so here's what I've got. (I'll try to be vague for the readers who haven't played yet.)

Dara: The escape from Virmire. For the first time she had to make a…

Once you've finished playing though the game at least once and will know, what's the hardest decision each character had (will have) to make? How would making that decision and seeing the results of…
