My degree (finally!) arrived yesterday. Still gotta figure out where to hang it, but I had a frame ready, so it's preserved behind glass and looking nice. A bit of a (silly) disappointment in hindsight, though... See, as a University of California graduate, my sheepskin is signed by, among other people, the governor. I graduated in June, so I got the John Hancock of Mr. Gray Davis, whose greatest achievement was to be the one governor in state history to be given the boot early. Whereas, had I flunked that last project class, I could have graduated this December and gotten Arnold's autograph. ^^;

Also yesterday: drove up to San Francisco to listen to a friend perform in the symphony. She's in the SF State U orchestra (second cello); they played some general Mozart and Beethoven, but very well. The building had several theaters, and there was evidently some play going on at the same time. We even saw some of the actors in costume come by the entrance as we were waiting for the doors to open. Must have been an... interesting drama; four of the ladies were wearing extremely short shorts (as in, different from panties only due to material).

Came back late and exhausted (we celebrated afterward at Chevy's with dessert and margaritas), and I crashed instantly, which is why you didn't see me online yesterday.
