Welcome to Windcat

At Windcat, we have been at the forefront of providing specialist crew transfer services to the offshore energy industry for over two decades. We always put our customers' needs first and have evolved alongside the industry. We continue to build new vessels with an emphasis on comfort, performance and decarbonisation.

With our large fleet of CTVs, CSOVs and MP-ASVs we are ensuring that we can continue to safely and effectively support tomorrow's offshore projects around the world. From our offices across Europe and beyond, we offer a global reach with a local focus.

Windcat is a family that stands for pioneering experience, efficiency, trust and service, for a sustainable future. Ultimately, the way of working and the people with us is what makes us stand out! Windcat is a part of CMB.TECH: one of the largest listed, diversified and future-proof maritime groups in the world with a fleet of about 250 vessels.

We integrate CMB.TECH’s hydrogen dual fuel technology on all newbuild vessels, marking a significant step towards reducing carbon emissions. Several hydrogen-powered CTVs are already in operation.

Our fleet

Windcat owns and operates a growing fleet of almost 60 CTVs. The vessel’s layout and propulsion are optimised to transfer personnel offshore in a safe and comfortable environment.
As windfarms go further offshore, crews need a home away from home. Therefore we are adding new vessel types to our fleet to offer safety and comfort for up to 190 people. The first CSOVs are already in operation, and the rest will be added soon. Construction of the MP-ASV will start in 2026, with delivery expected in 2028.

Quality, Health, Safety and Environment

We are committed to the highest possible standards of operational safety on all our vessels. On the CTVs we are certified to ISM (International Safety Management) code standard, along with being ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Achilles accredited. To maintain these standards our QHSE team is closely involved with all daily operational aspects of the company and vessels, as well as ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with charterer’s own management and safety requirement.

By collaborating with our clients, we aim to continuously improve our systems to ensure the highest levels of quality and safety.

Our vessels have been purpose built to transfer offshore personnel between shore, offshore wind turbines, construction vessels and other offshore assets. The vessels offer passengers space and comfort during transit and a safe and stable platform for safe transfers giving high accessibility to offshore assets.
