London riverside by dusk
okay, so I have the sneaking suspicion I’ve developed an addiction to night photography and bridges. Who knew!
Tonight’s subject, the recently redeveloped Blackfriars Railway Bridge over the river Thames (plus a few sneak extras). I’ve been wanting to photograph this bad boy for a while. I think it’s the light. Anyway, wandering home last night with my camera and tripod presented too good an opportunity to miss.

Another night out with the camera, admiring London’s bridges. Next time I think I definitely need more than an hour!

Last week, after an early start, we took a wander through the East London markets of Columbia Road Flower Market, Brick Lane and Spitalfields. Great for people watching, and possibly some of my favourite shots to dates.
My very talented triathlete friend Dana Voysey asked if I would take some shots of her and her impressive new Dassi bike for an upcoming triathlon profile. Obviously I was happy to oblige! We only had an hour, but got a couple of good shots – and a LOT of attention! Keep an eye on @DanaVoysey for more info.
It took a while, but I’ve met my new favourite lens… the wonderful 50mm. May never go anywhere without it!

I’m also writing a little ramble while I’m travelling around Eastern Europe for those who are interested. You can read about it here www.cloudburning.blogspot.com
