Why Duplicator Cloud

Generic storage holds files.
Duplicator Cloud is built around backups.

Google Drive, Dropbox, and generic storage can keep an archive. Duplicator Cloud keeps each backup connected to its WordPress site, visible in one dashboard, and ready for the restore flow.

An opaque archive box that only holds files. An organized Duplicator backup container with context.

Backup context, not mystery files

See backups as part of a WordPress site, with the details that matter when you need to find the right restore point. No guessing from filenames inside a folder.

Scattered generic storage folders. An organized backup dashboard across sites.

One dashboard, every site

Review connected sites from one dashboard and spot which backups are current, missing, or need attention. Not anonymous folders inside folders.

A manual restore path moving files by hand. A direct Duplicator Cloud restore flow.

Restore flow, not just download

When it is time to recover, the next step is already in the product: choose the backup, choose where it goes, and follow the restore instead of moving files by hand.

One home for every backup.

Duplicator Cloud keeps your backups organized, off-site, and ready when a site needs to be restored.

01
Store

Every backup, in the right place.

Backups are sent to Cloud and kept off-site, encrypted at rest, and away from the server you may need to recover.

  • Direct from the plugin. Duplicator sends it. We receive it.
  • Encrypted at rest. Built for backup storage, not public file sharing.
  • Storage limits you can see. Know how much room your backups are using.

02
Monitor

Every site, at a glance.

See every connected WordPress site in one place, with backup status, recent activity, and anything that needs attention.

  • All connected sites together. No checking each host first.
  • Timeline & activity log. Every upload and restore, searchable.
  • Alerts before you break. Storage warnings before backups fail.
03
Restore

Back on the server. One click.

When it is time to recover, choose the backup, choose the destination, and follow the restore from the same dashboard.

  • Less file handling. Avoid the usual download, upload, and hunt for the right archive.
  • Saved destinations. Reuse known restore targets when they are available.
  • Progress you can follow. See the restore status without stitching tools together.

Frequently asked, briefly answered.

Where exactly are my backups stored, and who can access them?
Your backups are stored off-site and encrypted at rest. Dashboard access is tied to your authenticated Duplicator account, and backup downloads use temporary signed links.
Are my backups locked into Cloud, or can I use them on their own?
Your backups are standalone. You download the exact same archive you would get from the plugin, and you can restore it with Duplicator outside of Cloud. You are not locked into the platform.
Do I need Duplicator to use the Cloud?
Yes. Duplicator Cloud works with backups created by Duplicator. The plugin and Cloud are designed to work together.
How is this different from generic cloud storage?
Generic storage just holds the archive files. Duplicator Cloud is built around Duplicator backups: it reads their details and shows them in a usable interface, tracks each backup against its WordPress site, and lets you start a restore directly from Cloud.
What's included in the price? How does it scale?
Cloud plans are based on the storage included. As your backups grow, you move to a plan with more space. See the full pricing →
What happens if my license expires? Do I lose my backups?
When your license expires, access is suspended but your backups are kept for a limited period. Reactivate your license within that window and you get full access back. After it passes, the backups are removed.

Put your backups somewhere built to restore them.
