Biocurator
The ClinGen Biocurator WG provides a forum for education and training for all ClinGen biocurators. We currently have a membership of over 500 curators worldwide. The list-serve for the Biocurator WG provides information on future presentations, useful links and recordings for previous presentations, and any announcements that important for ClinGen curators (~5-10 messages in total every month). If you are a ClinGen curator and have not been added to the list-serve, please speak with the coordinator of any Expert Panel that you are working with.
GOALS
- To provide biocurators with continuing education on salient topics in curation.
- To encourage an interactive dialog between biocurators for the purposes of troubleshooting problems and brainstorming solutions, sharing best practices, and comparing experiences.
- To serve as a mechanism for feedback from the biocurators regarding any issues with the curation process that may be appropriate for discussion with the ClinGen leadership.
