ClimateLaunchpad was created to unlock the potential of climate entrepreneurs everywhere by giving them a free platform to test ideas, build skills, and connect with the people who can help them move forward.
Climate change demands bold ideas, but early-stage innovators often lack access to the resources, networks, and support needed to develop them.
We exist to change that.

ClimateLaunchpad is part of Climate KIC, a leading climate innovation initiative established in 2010 by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union. Through education, innovation programmes, and systems transformation initiatives, Climate KIC works with partners worldwide to accelerate the transition to a climate-resilient society.
ClimateLaunchpad was established in 2014, and builds on this foundation by supporting early-stage climate innovators with the skills, networks, and opportunities they need to turn ideas into real-world impact.

To organise ClimateLaunchpad locally, you typically need:
- A strong network of climate or clean-tech innovators
- An organisation able to enter a formal partnership agreement
- Capacity and commitment to deliver the programme
