Or does it have to be in drafts?  If so, is there a special way to save it to the server?<\/p>\n<p>If this does not work, can I delete an old email, and upload a new one?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe IMAP protocol does not provide the ability to modify an existing email, so emails in a mailbox are effectively read-only.  You may download an email, modify it, delete the original, and &#8220;append&#8221; the modified email to the mailbox.
