The New Mexico Consortium for Higher Education Computing/Communication Services (CHECS)
is a non-profit consortium whose members are professionals from the computing
services divisions in every institute of higher education within New Mexico. This
consortium serves the entire state of New Mexico by advocating and improving the
business conditions within the computing, communications and information resource
facilities of its members so that the instruction, research and administration of
its member institutions will be improved.
