So my dad just called and gave me some bad news. They gave my Uncle Kerry 6 months top. I knew he was going to the doctor and I've seen him at the hospital (where I work) getting tests done, but I didn't really know how bad it was until now. We all thought he had cancer in his liver, which wouldn't have been so bad, but I guess it spread to his kidney, stomach, and now he has a bit in his bones too. It's just one thing after another in my family. My Uncle Kenny just died two years ago from Esophageal cancer, my cousin Faith (Kerry's daughter) passed away from a house fire just last year. I don't know how I'm going to handle this. I feel like everything is just falling apart.

So I keep myself busy. Thanks to kissme_myfool, and her Chlollie fic,I had some inspiration to make some Chlollie icons. Another small batch, but I was getting frustrated trying to figure out which images look good together. LOL.

I have been so drained latley. I've been starting work at 6am for the past few weeks and I think it's finally catching up to me. I haven't really had the energy to do much else. Although I did find time to take my mom up to Windsor so we could try our hand at the slots. Of course we walked away with nothing *sigh*. It's ok, we still have fun every time we go though.

I've been trying to catch up on my reading (see previous post). I'm on book nine of the Stephanie Plum Series and it's just fantastic. I have three more to go before book thirteen comes out. I also want to try to meet the author who will be on tour here I think on the 23rd of this month. Finding some poor yuppie to go with me is a tough job :-/ I don't want to go by myself either.

Anyways I actually got around to making some icons. I know it's not a lot but hey, it's been awhile :p

My first batch of Supernatural Icons. I can't believe I haven't posted or made any before this. Actually let me correct that. I did make a very small batch for the Supernatural: Season One Fanlisting, but that's it. Plus I've been on this Supernatural kick. I'm in the midst of writing a Chloe/Dean crossover fic. I'm about 3 pages into it. I'm not sure how long it will be, but I told myself not to post it until I'm done, because that way I know it'll be finished. I have this thing with not finishing fics. So look for that soon. On to the icons :)

I finally got around to making a few more icons. I think it's because Ryan/Taylor are such an inspiration. I tried using a whole bunch of different tutorials, but I'm thinking the b/w ones are my favorite. I might do the next batch in strictly b/w.

Yes I know it has been quite some time since I last posted a batch of icons, but I have finally caught my muse! I searched for a few tutorials to try something different and mixed it with my own style and these are the results :)

I just got back from going to see The Lake House with my mom. I thought it was good. I was very happy to see Keanu & Sandra on the screen together again. They have so much chemistry. I found myself crying twice in the theatre! I'm so pathetic! hehe. It was a very cute movie and I would definitly see it again, but I think I'll wait for the DVD so I can watch it all the time :) I really like how it ended too. I won't say too much in case anyone on my FList hasn't seen it. I will say that if you are into romantic type movies to go and see it. It was very enjoyable for me!

On another note I finally broke down and applied to be a staffer over at TFL. I've been thinking about it for awhile and xagentstarling asked awhile ago why I haven't applied to be one :) Seeing as my last class finishes on the 27th I will have more free time, so I just sat down and gave it a go. It was really hard to choose which categories I would want to staff, so I just picked the three that I would love to do! ... and so the waiting begins ;)

I also made a few icons and thought I would post them. I made a few LoVe icons for some of my lj friends that ship the pair :D
