I love when a plan comes together - and Nu's birthday bash was epic. I think I was a little anxious if I could pull off some stuff I promised but things came through.

As apart of the decorating committee, I think we had a lot of fun. Karen came more prepared than me. I have been humbled....ish.

On THE day, decorating the space was fun! "We" got to play with a car mechanic grade air compressor. Oh yea. I was a little worried that buddy from work forgot about me asking but he totally pulled through. I have to get him a nice thank you for letting us use it. I enjoyed putting the balloons together.

When it came to getting ready, I decided to wear a skirt. I am proud to report that 1) no one got hurt by my hand and 2) I waited until the LAST hour before getting into the jeans.

My favorite highlights of the evening: K1ttycat changed dresses two times - one of which was mine.

Figuring out how to make gin ice cubes. What? It was for science.

Wigglesworth has out prepared me (aka out Mary Poppin's bag me)and I am truly humbled. The dude cares a router with him! A ROUTER!

The bacon wrapped mini hotdogs. Zomg.

I danced without booze in my system. Shocking.

I got the last connoli! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ha.

Their is probably more, but Wigglesworth out prepared me!!!! Seriously.

I finally downloaded the update for my window's phone. The update included personalized ringtones!! I have the imperial march on my phone again!!! It was my happy for the day. Then I went on a ringtone finding spree. I found a ringtone from castle that is awesome, power rangers themes, and a parody to the song "like a G6" that was called "like a horcrux."

I finally know what character Damon from the Vampire Diaries reminds me of - John Crichton from Farscape with FAR LESS impulse control.

I guess some new Vampire Diaries books that are on the market are not even written by L.J. Smith. So I am not going to be giving my money. I was going to purchase them but not any more! That is f-ing ridiculous!!!! And I do not see it as boycotting - I simply refuse to give money to an endeavor that messes with cannon. Bitch please.

However, when Strange Fate comes out - I will be all over that!!!!!!!

I have had a very good "tv" day. I totally squeeed sooo much today. I finished watching Season 8 of Project Runway. I feel one of the finalist was ROBBBBED. ROBBBBBBBBBEEEEEEED. Ah I will not reveal the name in case other peeps are catching up on the season as well. Although that Ivy chic is a totally drama queen. (Arrrrrr. Robbed! Sorry still venting). Tim Gunn. I totally all out fan girl squeed at his awesomeness.... hhehehe, Jackie O would not have a camel toe.

Then I started watching Food Network Star Season 7 on hulu. Alton Brown is made of amazing things. I may have squeed a bit....or a lot.

Saw the end of Smallville. It was cute and awesome. I was kinda worried that I would feel underwhelmed like I had at the end of Buffy. You know when the T-rex ate Spike and Buffy, the bunny did unspeakable things with Anya and Xander poked his eye out with a stick when he fell down during the fight with the bunny to defend Anya's honor.**

I will admit I hadn't kept up with the show over the years - I basically lost interest when Lex left the show. I still tuned in when the new superhero pal showed up but when the show moved to Friday's - the workweek coma descended upon me and I just kept sleeping through watching it. Shogunhb was kind enough to fill in the gaps of the last season to get me up to speed before watching it.

The ep starts off with my favorite moment/sound bite from the first season - Lana seeing Clark was reading Niche and asks him, "Are you man or superman?" Of course the ep had plenty of montages, exploring his journey until that point. My favorite was his experiences with Lex through the years culminating in, hands down, the single most satisfying scene for me. (I hope that is vague enough for you. )

I have a lot of good memories that Smallville touched. In college I was so stoked that the show was going to happen from reading it in Entertainment weekly and got even more stoked when I found a poster advertising the show during one of many trips with peeps to Paperback Trader. One of my favorite onna_kenkaku quotes happened after I put up said poster, "La de da pecks." At one of the 104 Fest Remy Zero was one of the bands, they played the theme song for the show, but the equipment or something wasn't working and they walked off stage in the middle of their performance. I even tried to get Esod 2 to watch because JTT was a guest star but no such dice.

I am sad it is over but it had a good run.
