The Midas Punch
You are Sir Gallant, a knight who has been blessed with the power of King Midas in a way that can be turned on and off! With your power you feel a confident enough to take on the very foolish Obsidian Arena, full of perilous foes!
Controls are explained in game, but here they are:
A/J/Left: go left. Pushing into walls while airborne slides down them.
D/L/Right: go right
W/I/Up: vertical movement. While on floor this is a jump. While in air pushing into a wall, this is a wall jump. While head feathers touch ceiling, this is a ceiling slide.
Enter, Space, or Shift: throw the Midas Punch.
TIPS: you have more range than you think. The seeking orb can be tricked. Additionally, you get a little display with your character that shows the direction and distance to it so you can keep track of it when it's off-screen. Sometimes it is better to wait a little so that the enemy uses its shot and leaves itself open from another angle.

I like the game, its pretty fun, a bit difficult.
The first time I played I got to the second stage, but each time after I had a bit of trouble getting a bit further than that. The controls are pretty smooth though and I like sliding on my feathers lol!
I'll admit, the game was too difficult for me and ceiling cling was frustrating. I had to spam W and still don't understand how it works. Maybe extra button would work better for it (say hold SHIFT to cling). The death feels too unforgiving. Maybe if there was damage instead of insta death it would be more enjoyable. Having no music or SFX was unpleasant surprise :( First thing that I was expecting is to have some sort of sound effect once new message appears during tutorial. There is room for improvements and don't let this comment discourage you.
I am not saying this is a bad game, it isn't. Maybe you did same mistake we did in our first game jam - we made game too difficult and unforgiving.
Nevertheless, you did a great work, special kudos for tutorial and enemy/attack variation.
I would rather recieve harsh criticism than praise without reason. Thanks!
This is my second (working) jam submission and in my opinion this game is slightly easier than my first one. I'll definitely have to think about difficulty for others next time. Making an easy game without making a boring game is hard... I'll get there eventually.
