Since it's been like... two months since I've posted, and many things happened in between, I'm going to make one of those dreaded update posts.

Super-fast, before it becomes January:

1. I slept through an accountancy exam. :( Staying up until 5 a.m. + 8 a.m. class + midterm = BAD IDEA. Luckily, my teacher let me take a make-up on the same day. It's just... I oversleep so rarely -- I've done it twice, actually. The first time, I missed a class where I had to turn in a paper. I guess I just have really bad luck?

2. The reason why I stayed up so late that night was because I was talking to Kevin. We've been arguing a lot recently, which stinks. :(

3. My laptop's hard drive died. The repairs cost $263. Thanks, Apple. That brings the total spent in REPAIRS to this laptop to about $540. Ugh... But then again, not only did they do the hard drive replacement the same day, they also installed Leopard (I had Tiger before), and replaced my yellowed trackpad and laptop casing. When I got it back, I was like, "Um... did they give me the wrong laptop?" because it looked so new. Even the keyboard seemed more... clicky. The bad news: the last time I backed up my data was May. I lost every file from this semester. The lesson learned: back up regularly. Also, get a better warranty plan for my next laptop.

4. Note: #1 and #3 happened within 24 hours of each other. It was not a good week.

5. I'm done with the semester and my classes went well. Also, my section-leading job? IT WAS SO GOOD. I never fell behind on homework and it was completely unstressful.

6. I am having a lot of trouble getting an internship. I've only gotten two interviews, and both of them sent me denial emails afterwards. :(

7. I actually found people that have read the ASOIAF books. This means I won't actually implode. For the first time in like, two years, I'm writing fanfiction and drawing fanart. This is like... a miracle! :O

1. I'm finished with my internship. It went pretty well.

2. I'm going back to college tomorrow. :S

After no less than four airports and sixteen hours of traveling (I wish I could say I'm exaggerating these figures, but I'm not), I'm here in California, ready(?) to start work tomorrow. I can't really say much else because I need to go to sleep like now in order to be able to wake up at 7:30 a.m.

This time I have a better excuse (actually, excuses) for disappearing.

1. My mom came over from California. We were cleaning up the house for like FIVE DAYS STRAIGHT. And now it's messy again. u_u

2. I'm still taking a computer class and I've been getting more homework. I'm really slacking on the reading though...

3. I'm writing a FAQ for Gamefaqs! I'm actually just writing up the game script for Sword of Mana, and am about... 6% done. ._.;;

4. I'm working on a new site. .... It's for Sword of Mana. Me? Obsessed? Nahhh... e.e It's exciting because it uses divs for the layout, which I've never used before.

5. I got a job! I GOT A JOB! I GOT A JOB! I GOT A-- *is shot* Basically, I get paid to take measurements of my school and sit around computers answering questions about the dimensions. Isn't that great?

6. I've been playing D&D with my sister, my brother, and three of my brother's friends, and so we play from 9 PM to 1 or 2 AM nearly every night. Yes, I am a dork.


I've been really stressed out lately. Summer hasn't really been summer to me. I still have summer reading to do, and I start swim practice next month. I'm a terrible swimmer, so I'm not sure why I'm joining the swim team, but...


Anyway, my KND site is totally dead. The info on it is so out of date and I can't get back into the groove of updating every week (dang, how did I manage to do that during my sophomore year???). Plus, I haven't watched the new episodes (MAURICE & LOVE/COUCH, I believe) and am really out of touch with KND in general.

I've also decided to abandon my Deviantart account. I love Deviantart, but recently, it's just been a huge pain and source of stress. I think it's a combination of trying to keep up with all my watches and getting insanely jealous of all the artists better than I am. Yeah... I realized that I stink at drawing too. I mean, I entered a contest for Avatar: the Last Airbender fanart and I got one vote out of 55, and seriously, I feel sorry for my sister because I just moped around the house saying, "I'm sad. Do you know why?" and she'd be like, "Um... the Avatar art contest?" So yeah, I'm really petty and I get stressed out by these kinds of things, and so I decided to run away.
