These are symmetric, compact in notation and are based on the Kronecker algebra of vectors and matrices. In this paper, we have obtained D- and V-optimal designs based on weighted simplex centroid design for second degree K-model for mixture experiments.

Those expressions are shown to be very useful in terms of computing the moments of order statistics. This paper extends the same idea to obtain the explicit expressions for the exact moments of order statistics with the appropriate consideration for change of origin and scale. The said distribution represents a class of probability distributions (more than 50) as limiting forms.

This present article aspires to extend the notion of R-optimality in mixture experiments. In this study, we obtain saturated R-optimal designs for quadratic canonical polynomial for[Formula: see text]mixture components as well as for different forms of cubic polynomial mixture models, that is, full cubic, cubic without 3-way effect, and special cubic mixture models in three mixture components. The optimality of the proposed designs is confirmed by the equivalence theorem. AMS subject classification: 62K05
