Modelling Pathway
Using a practical, hands-on approach to learning, our Modelling Pathway will allow you to develop a strong skillset and mindset to handle any modelling task in production.
Introduction
The Modelling Pathway has been designed to support the development of your modelling skills from A to Z through a series of practical exercises. Many courses will guide you step-by-step, whilst some of the courses will demonstrate the core theory and the workflow, then encourage you to follow your own intuition to complete a task. The aim here is that over time, you are able to break down your reference and figure out the topology required for a model. For example, if you can figure out the topology for a cat through careful observation and analysis, then you can do the same for a dog, or a dragon.
The Modelling Pathway is broken down into 2 stages: Foundation and Feature Animation.

Modelling Pathway – FoundationOur Modelling Foundation Pathway will introduce you to the core modelling applications and tools used to create production-friendly models. More importantly, we'll also develop your observation and critical analysis skills that build your confidence for tackling modelling tasks.

Modelling Pathway – Feature AnimationOur Modelling Feature Animation Pathway will dive right into character modelling. Following on from this, we'll look at spaceships and environments.
