Defriending Amnesty

So I wanted to stick it out on Lj, but I really don't use this thing much because most of the 1D fandom happens on twitter and tumblr. I'll post fic or random bits and bobs like fic fests and stuff now and then but I mostly do fandom elsewhere. So my computer is really for real dead now. Sad.

In better news I am writing a 1D Big Bang! My idea is pretty tentatively a 21 Jump Street AU, and it will be Liam/Louis. That last part is pretty solidly going to be the case. What can I say? They're my OTP!

School and work are doing okay.

I am officially saving money to take trip to Sydney, AUS next year to visit my favorite person,

So yesterday I decided to hold off on buying a new computer and just got an iPad. It's awesome and I enjoy it.

Cut to five minutes ago when I spilled a giant soda all over my current perfectly nice working laptop[Unknown LJ tag]. So that happened. Hopefully it will hold out so that I can use it for power point and stuff for school until I can get a new one. Everything else I should be able to do on my iPad. Boo. This is so much fail you guys. So much fail.

I mean my last is still working but it's acting glitchy. Hopefully it will just dry itself out. Does the rice thing work on laptops????

I finally updated the prompts and fills in the girl direction fest. It's still going fairly strong, you guys! Just keep it coming! My editing of the post will probably be sporadic this week because it's our busiest week of the year. Back to school, plus Friday-Sunday is Texas' tax free weekend. I'm only off ONE day this week, and that's tomorrow.

The Girl Direction Fest is still going SO STRONG. There are currently 45 unfilled prompts and 20 filled prompts. That is so great! Keep it coming guys!

I have to close tonight and then be at work at 7am in the morning for a meeting, so I probably won't be able to update or unspam comments until tomorrow afternoon. Don't let that deter you though! If you comment is marked spam just be patient. :)

It's been a few days since I updated! The girl fest is way more successful than I could have imagined, and we're still getting prompts and fills. If you haven't dropped by, you should.

Also, I wrote One Direction fic! Here the Whole Time, which is girl!Niall/Zayn, and I think it turned out quite good!

Liam announced that his kidney has started working again (miracle?) and now I want lots of fic where Louis takes him out and gets him drunk and then they make out. I mean, come on. Like, come on. It would be the most perfect thing to ever be perfect. Someone write it for me.

Well, I've been out of school for three days, and I might actually get to spend a day at home doing nothing tomorrow! And maybe I'll write something but judging from the last few days and how I've just sat in front of the computer refreshing tumblr ....probably not.

I mean maybe. I really WANT to. I feel like it's been so long since I've written anything that it's hard for me to get back into the groove. I have ideas and thoughts and the desire to write but then I just sit there staring and then eventually go back to tumblr.

Sigh.
