We have received several questions following the letter sent to members of the Odanak Abenaki First Nation regarding the Settlement Agreement with Canada (specific claims related to the St. Francis Mission and the 38 lots). Please see the following important clarifications:

• If you received the letter by mail, it means that you are officially a member of Odanak. Therefore, there is no need to take any steps to confirm your status if you are already registered.
• Please note that only one letter per mailing address will be sent.
