Hamlin Made Me Whole Again

Wallis has spent nearly 30 years adapting to multiple disabilities, including involuntary movements, muscle spasms, limited speech, and an auditory processing disorder. In this story, she shares how Canine Companions service dogs transformed her independence, with Hamlin helping her travel safely, manage daily tasks, and regain a sense of wholeness, dignity, and confidence.

The Coast Guard Finding Steady Ground

After serving six years as a U.S. Coast Guard operations specialist, Connor Huston developed PTSD from the intense pressure of delivering life-or-death communications and death notifications.
