Well, I failed again at posting my meme in a timely fashion, but here's my last hurrah!
A song you would like to share:
Oh, Canada, sung with great glee by Walk Off The Earth
Happy Canada Day to anyone out there that would like to help me celebrate. It's pouring with rain. My cats hate me, and to celebrate Canada Day I pulled out my fridge and stove and cleaned under them.
It's really hard to choose just one.I've dithered between two of them, and I can't decide.
Arlington, by the Wailin' jennys
Or
LonLon (Bolero), by Angelique Kidjo
Either of these have a lovely, soporific feel to them. I already used Chersea and her beautifully ethereal songs, but I do think I prefer womens' voices when I'm trying to sleep.
I've been really bad and neglected this in favour of coding my big bang, but it's posted now, so I have no more excuse.
Day 24: A song you've had stuck in your head:
For My Brother, by Blue October
My favourite band for the past 10 years or more, Blue October is always stuck in my head. I had someone make me a Sam Winchester Video from it that I watch on repeat sometimes. Listen to it and tell me it's not a Sam song. I dare you!
Day 25: A song in a different language:
Kal Ho Na Ho, by Sonu Nigam
Sonu has a beautiful voice, and this song makes me tear up when I hear it. The song itself is about living in the minute. Embrace love while you have it, because you never know when it will be gone.
I really think this is one of the saddest songs ever
A song you listen to at 3am:
The Wolf, by Chersea
Chersea is a local musician, and I'm in love with her music. I go to see her whenever I can. If I'm listening to music at 3am, I'm probably half asleep and dreaming about alpha Jensen and his mate roaming the forest together after Jared is claimed. This song brings the images to me without me even having to try.
