Not so Idle anymore.

Ok, if everyone in this community doesn't already know... I am getting married at the end of May. I am trying to figure out how to invite camp people because it is the Friday after Staff training (most likely... its not set in stone yet) So, what are your suggestions, because I don't want to NOT include people I don't know that will be new this year cause I know whats it like when all the old folks bundle up and leave out the new folks... but at the same time I DON'T KNOW THEM. So... I won't be inviting them obviously and I don't really want to send an invite to the camp addressed to "all the people I know" or "all returning staff". Not to mention its a two hour drive from camp. Maybe I should just get a tally of all who would interested in coming and send invites to their homes (because they would be going out way before staff training) or just get out my summer book from last summer and pick the people I'm friends with? I'm stumped. |

So, camp just ended and my mom emailed me saying that the nurses have already been picked for every week but one for next summer! So, my mom and sister will be coming the ninth week and my sister will stay through the tenth. I won't be working next summer, but I already have at least two, if not three, weeks that I will be volunteering next summer. And its still August. Current Mood:  amused |

I finally uploaded my summer pictures. I used an adobe photo gallery maker because there are over 300 pictures in there. Start here and follow the arrowsIt's gonna take you alot of time to go through them, I think but they are worth it. And if there is anything in there you don't understand, ask me about it cause there are some really strange pictures in there. Also... I will send full size copies to anyone who might want to download and print. I'm x-posting this in  zarkarella. Later on I am going to post some of my favorites directly to Livejournal, so look for those. **EDIT** I uploaded Thumbnail pages that will be easier to browse. Hello Camp Cosby People! Just wanted to let you know I just talked to our fearless leader and he wanted me to tell any counselors that I talked to that they need to get their DHR paperwork in PRONTO. In case you were not aware, if you aren't cleared by DHR, you can not stay in a cabin with kids. So... get it in quickly because DHR is backed up and is about a month behind, so... if you want to be able to work, then get it to him now so it can be cleared by the time we start work. I love camp planning. This makes me all giddy and crap. :) |

Hey guys! I figured it was time to start this, I can't believe we haven't already. There are other people we need to send the link to, like Caitie and Will and Patrick... and whoever else has a journal. It's that time of year when I get unbelievably camp sick and start planning the next summer. I am trying to make it to Christmas camp but it all depends of my bosses and time off. Anyway... lets use this for camp news and posting old pictures and memorabilia and all that fun stuff. I'm excited to have a place to gush, especially since no one on my friends list other than you guys want to hear about it :) Sarah's going to make us a cool icon and a fun picture to put on the info page. She's good with pictures like that. Speaking of pictures, you can check out uamarch for all my pictures from this summer... but I think I am going to transfer all the entries over here. I think you guys should post pictures in here too. We could share! :) Here's a couple to tide us over :)        Ok, that was fun.
