Start earning your master’s degree early with the PlusOne pathway

With an interdisciplinary focus, CAMD’s PlusOne pathway provides students a framework to earn undergraduate and master’s degrees in different subject areas. The result is a highly flexible, practical and personalized academic experience that primes students for success in a wide array of emerging fields.

The PlusOne pathway enables students to:

  • Accelerate learning – Earn up to 16 credits toward a master’s degree during undergrad and receive your graduate degree up to one year sooner
  • Gain more professional experience – A key part of the CAMD experience is co-op, or co-operative education. With PlusOne at CAMD, students can complete up to three co-ops, giving students the professional experience in different fields and discover the connections between them, ultimately helping them to launch their careers.

MS in Experience Design

Experience Design is a holistic and integrative approach to design that focuses on the quality of the human experience in concrete situations. It employs investigation, analysis, creativity and technology as tools to understand human goals, needs and desires, and to mediate the human experience. The Experience Design program embraces research-driven design thinking for entrepreneurship and innovation, focusing on important global challenges of today.

Master of Architecture

Our NAAB accredited, STEM-designated MArch program takes an approach of radical pragmatism – finding design innovation within the realities of today’s urban challenges, from climate change and social equity to real estate markets and building preservation. With Boston’s dynamic metropolitan area as your laboratory, students develop both the technical expertise and strategic vision needed to move architects to the center of discussions about our cities’ futures.
