We are a Cambridge-based charity, entirely run by volunteers, who work to help refugees in Northern France and elsewhere overseas. As well as sending regular convoys of aid and volunteers to assist NGOs in Calais, we also organise donation collections, fundraising events and seek to raise awareness of the refugee crisis.
Cambridge Convoy Refugee Action Group was founded in 2015 by activists in and around Cambridge, with the aim of coordinating the logistics of sending donations and volunteers to help refugees in the Calais area.

Whether it’s for an hour a month or ten hours a week, you can join us to help refugees. There are many great ways you can get involved with CamCRAG.

We rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters to provide the aid we send to Calais, and the funds we use to help refugees.

Our volunteer convoys to Calais will resume in September 2026: Dates and more info will be published on the convoys page over the summer.

We have two remaining places on our June convoy this coming weekend, 26 to 28 June.

We are currently unable to take any physical donations, but hope to do so again later this year.

Thank you to the Hart Trio and all at St Botolph’s for last month’s concert.

A great weekend spent alongside people united by a shared sense of purpose.
