two poets (oriental and occidental poets).We
used two computational tools to analyze the
poetic output: LIWC and Sketch Engine.
Both Frederik Rreshpja and Nizarre Qabbani
are frustrated and expatriated from their
native societies on the verge of different
cultural shifts. Rreshpja and Qabbani
demonstrate similar passive tone, high
authenticity, questionable clout and a
remarkable analytical thinking. We
recommend assigning our methodology in
creating a universal psycholinguistic archive
of poets all over the world.

Concept of motion is central to the human cognition and it is universally studied in cognitive li... more Concept of motion is central to the human cognition and it is universally studied in cognitive linguistics. This research paper investigates concept of motion, with special reference to traveling, in the poetry of Widad Benmoussa. It mainly focuses on the cognitive dimensions underlying the metaphorical representation of traveling. To this end, the research conducts a semi-automated analysis of a corpus representing Widad’s poetic collections. MetaNet’s physical path is mainly used to reveal the cognitive respects of traveling. The personae the poetess assigns are found to pursue a dynamic goal through activation of several physical paths. During the unstable romantic relations, several travel impediments are met. Travel stops and detours, travel companions, paths in journey as well as changing travel destinations are the most stressed elements of ‘Traveling’ respects. With such a described high frequency of sudden departures and hopping, the male persona the poetess assigns evinces typical features of 'wanderlust' or dromomania.

way that the second clause starts with the same word which marks the end of the previous clause. The Arabic language
uses a variant or a modification of this literary device: the “reduced” anadiplosis. The infrequent use of this device
either in English or its variant in Arabic makes it less knowable. That is why most of translators failed to render it
stylistically and semantically in their translations.
This study investigates the Quranic verses in question and contrasts three of the most famous translations in relation to
the original meaning. Unfortunately, all translations failed to render the stylistic and semantic content in every verse.
This paper is technically analyzing the imperceptibly erroneous translations; highlighting some basic theoretical
concepts and outlining some literary fundamentals. The study proceeds until eventually suggesting two simple
techniques toward a successful translation.

It functions to recruit the body politic in a patriotic framework. The national anthems should crystallize the outlook of the nation. This paper aims at analyzing the Egyptian national anthem within the transdisciplinary field of word and music studies to measure the melopoetic sagacity of this anthem. This is substantially drawing upon the linguistic sociocultural background where textual analysis, folkloric relevance, musicological characteristics and the Egyptian cultural perspective are discussed at large. The paper encounters three translations of the contemporary national anthem to investigate their soundness. It also diagrams a semantic frame, extracted from the content words of the cotemporary national anthem of Egypt, toward crystallizing its characteristics.

Two romantic poems; “Burning Flute” and “When The Lamp Is Shattered” express the conceptual domain of “Lost love”, using various conceptually-loaded poetic images. Poets, within the same age, might share some conceptual metaphors. However, what about unalike poets from different countries and centuries? Is there any possibility for their poems to draw a very similar picture while they are deictically half-the-world apart?
This study analyzes likeness and symbolism relations in the two poems, drawing a contrastive semantic map for the “Lost love” conceptual domain of the two poets. This case study is applicable on Ebraheme Nagi’s “Burning Flute” and Percy Shelley’s “When The Lamp Is Shattered”. The study depends on the semantic field theory to categorize the used source and target domains in order to reveal the conceptual similarities between the poems, if any. It tests the validity of both semantic fields and semantic mapping in sketching a systematic picture the of universal poetic conceptual domains.
