Instal·lació

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

Note : This plugin works with Elementor. Make sure you have Elementor installed.

Method 1: Automatic Installation (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel.

  2. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.

  3. In the search field, type “Document Embedder Addons For Elementor” and click Search Plugins.

  4. Once located, click the “Install Now” button next to the plugin.

  5. After the installation is complete, click the “Activate” button.

Method 2: Manual Installation via Upload

  1. Download the plugin’s .zip file to your computer.

  2. Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel.

  3. Go to Plugins > Add New.

  4. Click the “Upload Plugin” button at the top of the page.

  5. Click “Choose File”, select the plugin’s .zip file you downloaded, and then click “Install Now”.

  6. After the installation is complete, click the “Activate Plugin” button.

What kinds of documents can I embed with this plugin?

You can embed a wide range of popular document formats directly into your Elementor pages. The plugin supports Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx), PDF files, and files from Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

After activating the plugin, look for the widget category named “B Addon” within the Elementor editor panel. All our document embedder widgets are located there. If you don’t see it, ensure that both Elementor and our plugin are activated correctly.

The plugin works well only on computers

This plugin works well only on computers, when 80-90% of your traffic is mobile phone users. This plugin is useless because for mobile phones it displays the content very crookedly and inconveniently.

Works But Not Responsive, Lacking Settings.

This plugin works but really is only useful for desktop. The good is that it works with dynamic content and it’s the only one I found that will. But it’s not responsive and does not resize well on iPhone in Chrome or Firefox – I only tested it on iPhone. There is no settings outside the few you have within elementor, and this will only work with elementor as there is no other way to access the plugin outside of elementor.

I have just installed this plugin and am happy to say that it work straight away. Also it’s dead easy to use. Highly recommend. I was beginning to get a little frustrated as having installed a number of plugins before and none of them worked. I’ll be donating very soon.

PDF Viewer works as intended (not anymore)

I am viewing my PDF in a popup window and this plugin is the only widget I have so far tested that shows the document without scaling issues. Two things you should improve: The UI lets you define a window width and height for the iframe, but instead of passsing a width attribute, the UI passes a max-width attribute to the iframe, which may lead to the document being displayed small depending on its container. Please add vh and vw to define iframe dimensions according to the viewport. I was able to work around that with CSS, but please add it, as it should be low effort. Thanks. Edit: I do not know what happened but the current version of the native PDF viewer but it is broken as of now. My page only shows a file download dialogue instead of viewing the PDF in the viewer. Possibly version incompatibility with current WordPress/Elementor.
