The simulation gives the proper idea about feasibility of design of gating system of Box Parallel and also Sand plays an important role in deciding the quality of casted Box Parallel.

MIG Welding is widely used by engineers and production personnel as a quick and effective welding... more MIG Welding is widely used by engineers and production personnel as a quick and effective welding process for joining metals. Process parameters of MIG welding are considered as the utmost significant influences that affects the quality, productivity and cost of welding process. The work presents effect of such welding parameters like welding current, welding voltage, gas flow rate, wire feed rate, etc. on weld strength, ultimate tensile strength and hardness of weld joint using design of experiments method. The abovementioned parameters were optimized using Genetic Algorithm and suitable combination of parameters were proposed for target quality using ANOVA. A prediction model is also developed using Artificial Neural Network. The analysis provides significance of said process parameters and its effect on the quality and strength of joint.

The Economic order quantity (EOQ) models with uncertain demand and Periodic order quantity (POQ) models with uncertain demand was studied & applied to the data of industry. This paper defines the need and the requirements that are to be instilled in the fixture for a planet carrier and in culmination, this fixture will decreasecycle time required for loading and unloading of a part, escalates production rate, reduces accidents, will be highly versatile and reliable and most importantly, decreases the cost of production.

The present study aims at understanding the influence of welding parameters of one such critical weld joint between dish end and nozzle of the reactor vessel. The influence of welding current and welding speed on welding defects is critically studied considering four independent cases. The two common defects observed in non destructive testing are porosity and slag inclusion. The study reveals the safe window of operating parameters for welding current and welding speed for the suggested welding procedure.

Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding process has been used for hardfacing. Welding input parameters plays a vital role for determining the weld quality. In hardfacing process weld bead geometry plays significant role. This paper shows the effect MIG welding process parameters on weld height. The input parameters taken under investigation are welding current, welding speed and gas flow rate. To predict Weld Height Fuzzy Logic based model is prepared using fuzzy expert rules, triangular membership function and centroid area method for defuzzyfication process using MATLAB fuzzy logic tool box. An attempt is made to relate statistical technique and computational technique to model the predicted response. The results obtained by Fuzzy, ANN and Regression are compared with experimental data to identify the best modelling technique among them.

To predict Weld Height Fuzzy Logic based model is prepared using fuzzy expert rules, triangular membership function and centroid area method for defuzzyfication process using MATLAB fuzzy logic tool box. An attempt is made to relate statistical technique and computational technique to model the predicted response. The results obtained by Fuzzy, ANN and Regression are compared with experimental data to identify the best modelling technique among them.
