Real Water, Inc. of Mesa, AZ and Henderson, NV, has issued a voluntary recall of all sizes of its Real Water brand drinking water, because it may be linked to certain instances of non-viral hepatitis which were reported in or about November, 2020 in the Las Vegas, NV area.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Symptoms of all types of hepatitis, including non-viral hepatitis, are similar and can include fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dark urine, clay or gray-colored bowel movements, joint pain, yellow eyes, and jaundice. Those experiencing these symptoms should contact their doctor.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Recalled products include 1.5 liters, 1 liter, 500 ml and 1 gallon ready-to-drink bottles that were distributed throughout the United States by UNFI and KEHE to the natural channel of stores, as well as through direct distribution to various retail stores on a regional basis in the greater Las Vegas, NV area, Northern Arizona, Southern California, Tennessee, Georgia, Chicago, New York, Mississippi, and New Mexico.  Real Water is also sold on Amazon.com.  In addition, 5-gallon home and office delivery bottles were distributed through direct delivery to homes and offices in the greater Las Vegas, NV area, central California coastal region (North of Los Angeles, CA and South from Santa Barbara, CA), and Phoenix, AZ.  Also included in the recall are the 4 oz bottles of Real Water Concentrate, sold on the Firm’s website.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Investigation links pet sickness, death, to flea and tick collar with Shawnee connection<\/b><\/span><\/span>

SHAWNEE, Kan. — Could the flea and tick collar you put on your pet be hurting them? The results of a new investigation are concerning for pet owners.<\/span><\/p>

Whether its man’s best friends or a furry feline, pets are a part of the family, and many owners love them like their own children. When you put a flea and tick collar on them, you expect it to be safe for them to wear.<\/span><\/p>

But an investigation that published this morning by the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting along with <\/span>USA Today<\/span><\/a> discovered a troubling trend.<\/span><\/p>

After looking over thousands of federal documents from the EPA, investigators learned there have been more than 75,000 complaints about the Seresto-brand flea and tick collar over the past nine years. They discovered close to 1,700 dogs and cats wearing this collar died.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>Elanco Animal Health recently bought Bayer Animal Health, which for years did research in Shawnee on animal products like the flea and tick collar in question.<\/span>

Bayer created this collar with the brand name Seresto<\/b>, and Elanco<\/b> now sells it<\/b>. It uses two types of pesticides to kill fleas and ticks, releasing small amounts of chemicals onto your pet over time. Investigators found evidence this collar might be killing dogs and cats, too.

Not only are pets having problems with the Seresto flea and tick collar. Humans might be too. More than 1,000 people have reported health problems from it, mostly rashes.<\/span><\/p>

Almost all flea and tick collars contain pesticide, so if your dog or cat are having health problems, that could be the cause. You should consult your vet before using chemicals in tandem with your pets.<\/span><\/p><\/div>

Is-<\/span><\/span>the Seresto flea and tick collars safe?<\/b><\/span><\/div><\/div>
The pesticides in the collar<\/b> are supposed to kill fleas<\/b>, ticks<\/b> and other pests but be safe<\/b> for cats and dogs.
The collars<\/b>-have been linked to at least 1,698 pet deaths, 75,000 incidents of pet

Americans Actually Drank Hand Sanitizer Following Trump’s April Briefing<\/a><\/span><\/h1>

The cases came after Trump asked during an April 24 briefing at the White House whether disinfectants could be used internally to help combat the novel coronavirus<\/p>

A rash of poisonings and four deaths in May and June were tied to drinking hand sanitizer that contained methanol in Arizona and New Mexico, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported. The incidents happened after President Donald Trump mused on ingesting disinfectants to treat the novel coronavirus.<\/p>

The agency detailed 15 cases of methanol poisoning in its weekly report, including four patients who remain hospitalized and three who were released with permanent visual impairment. Just four of the 15 fully recovered, the agency said Wednesday.<\/p>

The federal Department of Veterans Affairs<\/a> has been giving 1,300 veterans hydroxychloroquine<\/a> as a treatment for the coronavirus<\/a> since late March — even though the drug has not been proven to be effective<\/a> against the illness and may even trigger fatal heart problems<\/a>.

In a study of 100,000 patients with COVID-19 published Friday in the medical journal The Lancet, patients who received hydroxychloroquine had a “significantly higher risk of death<\/a>” compared to those who were not given the drug. “We were unable to confirm a benefit<\/a> of hydroxychloroquine” on in-hospital outcomes for COVID-19, the researchers concluded.

President Donald Trump<\/a> was lobbied to use the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine to treat the coronavirus<\/a> during an Oval Office visit from Fox News host Laura Ingraham and two doctors who are frequent guests on her show.<\/p>

And, it was revealed, Trump has a financial stake in a French firm that makes the drug.<\/p>

The president came out of Ingraham meeting full of enthusiasm for hydroxychloroquine, which has shown some promise but has not undergone rigorous testing for its treatment of COVID-19, The Washington Post<\/a> reported.<\/p>

And Trump has a small personal financial interest in Sanofi, the French company that makes Plaquenil, the brand-name version of hydroxychloroquine, The New York Times <\/a>reported.<\/p>But the investment is part of the Trump family's larger stake in a mutual fund whose largest holding is in Sanofi. The French drugmaker also manufactures many other drugs and there is no suggestion that Trump is motivated by personal gain and may even be unaware of the investment.
