Springshare has partnered with ByWater Solutions to provide integration with LibCal and Aspen Discovery. With this integration, common customers of ByWater’s Aspen Discovery and Springshare’s LibCal will see LibCal event information and registration data seamlessly integrated into Aspen content pages. Aspen Discovery’s direct connection to LibCal brings patrons one step closer to the information they are seeking. LibCal’s informative, media-rich event calendar pages display intuitively to the user in Aspen Discovery thus increasing the visibility and attendance for library events.
Lean Library Workflow for LibGuides is an end-user browser plugin that directly connects your LibGuides to the patron, right at their point-of-need. Embed your Google Scholar LibGuide so whenever the patron visits scholar.google.com, it literally pops up right in their browser.
Your chat service comes to them instead of the other way around. The Lean Library browser extension now has integration with LibChat. Meaning your patrons can launch a chat with your librarians from right inside their browser - on any webpage, from literally anywhere. Your patrons won't have to hunt down your chat reference service on your website, instead your chat reference tool gets delivered directly to them in their preferred browser.
LibKey Nomad++ from Third Iron can be integrated with LibChat to help your library meet users wherever they're researching. LibKey Nomad++, an enhancement of LibKey Nomad, is a browser extension that enables access to a library's full-text resources as research is conducted online. LibKey Nomad provides one-click access to full text from sites like PubMed, Wikipedia, and more. With the LibChat integration, patrons will be able to get research help from a live librarian right from the LibKey Nomad++ browser plugin.
Springshare and BiblioCommons have partnered to streamline the space booking process for their users. This unique integration enables BiblioEvents users to reserve a LibCal Space/Room when creating an event from the BiblioEvents admin interface. Now, libraries can manage and book spaces during the BiblioEvents creation process while simultaneously allowing unused spaces/rooms to be booked by patrons.
PowerNotes helps students keep track of their research, writing, and note-taking. LibChat connects students with a librarian who can answer their research questions. What happens when you combine the two? A powerful partnership that makes it easy for students to get help right when and where they need it the most - when they're doing research. Now, when institutions subscribe to both LibAnswers and PowerNotes, their students can organize their research in PowerNotes and access live help from a LibChat librarian all in one.
When users connect their LibCal spaces with RemoteLock software, the two systems work together to generate and deliver a unique access code for each booking. With this integration, users can book a space using Springshare's LibCal room reservation system and receive a confirmation email with their automatically-generated access code. During their reservation time, users can unlock the room by entering their code on the space's RemoteLock device.
Springshare has introduced customized UI screens in LibCal designed to seamlessly integrate with Crestron room scheduling panels. The new interface allows patrons to view availability and check in to rooms/spaces via Crestron room scheduling panels mounted in front of the bookable rooms.
Springshare and Brodart have launched an exciting new reading recommendation service, Patron Point My Reads™. With this collaboration, users of the Patron Point marketing and automation platform can draw on robust title information provided by Brodart to automatically generate eye-catching monthly newsletters that feature reading lists on specific genres and topics.
Springshare and Bowker have partnered together to create Patron Point Recommends™ – a reading recommendation service that helps public libraries market content to their patrons, increasing engagement and usage. Patron Point Recommends automatically creates eye-catching branded monthly newsletters for new titles from a library’s catalog enriched with recommendations and summaries.
Libraries using Bibliotheca’s award-winning quickConnect software can now seamlessly integrate with LibCal, Springshare’s flexible calendar solution—enhancing the patron experience directly at selfCheck stations. This integration allows libraries to easily populate their LibCal calendar, which automatically syncs with selfChecks™ running quickConnect™.
