The Yeti at the Stone Bridge

Is there movement in the old monastery?

No time for that now, the Yeti seem ready to attack!

They are massing near the stone bridge.

What can a few pitiful villagers armed only with pole arms and swords do against such legendary creatures?

They stand ready to defend their homes.

A mysterious figure watches from the door of the ancient and crumbling monastery.

A long way away, but close enough to follow the action below.

He is a doctor, a many of many talents, all used for his own purposes.

But there are other outsiders here too, and they have pledged to help the villagers.
 

There Are New Arrivals

As the flying platforms arrive and land inside the village, they notice the villagers are on full alert.

A strange sight, modern transportation in such an ancient setting.

They land the platforms and disembark.

He head man of the village greets his friend the distinguished scientist; while the boys and the dog look around a bit.

There is activity on the mountain, near the rope and wooden bridge.

It is it the Yeti?

There are several of them!

They are coming down the hill.

This is what the villagers had feared.
 

A Yellow Jet Overhead

A modern jet flies low overhead.

It flies over the village.

The jet lands on the snow outside the village.

The distinguished doctor, he aide, two boys and a little dog dismount.  The take some gear with them.

But first they observe the ruined monastery from a distance.

Gathering their gear they prepare to depart for the village.

They climb into their flying platforms and away they go!
