Description

require 'yaml'

begin
raise "omg"
rescue

yaml loses the backtrace

YAML.load(YAML.dump $!).backtrace # => nil

marshal persists the backtrace

Marshal.load(Marshal.dump $!).backtrace # => ["-:4:in `'"]

end
