We propose a new model of a gravastar in (2+1) anti-de Sitter space-time. This new three dimensional configuration has three different regions with different equations of state: [I] Interior: 0 \leq r < r_1, \rho = -p ; [II] Shell: r_1 \leq r < r_2, \rho = p; [III] Exterior: r_2 < r, \rho = p =0. The outer region of this gravastar corresponds to the exterior (2+1) anti-de Sitter space-time, popularly known as the BTZ space-time. Like BTZ model, \Lambda is taken to be negative, which at the junction turns out to be positive as required by stability of gravastar and mathematical consistency. After investigating the Interior space-time, Shell and Exterior space-time we have highlighted different physical features in terms of Length and Energy, Entropy, and Junction conditions of the spherical distribution. It is shown that the present model of charge-free gravastar in connection to the exterior (2+1) anti-de Sitter space-time or the BTZ space-time is stable and non-singular.

We provide a new matter source that supplies fuel to construct wormhole spacetime. The exact wormhole solutions are found in the model having, besides real matter, an anisotropic dark energy. We have shown that the exotic matters that are the necessary ingredients for wormhole physics violate null and weak energy conditions but obey strong energy condition marginally. Though the wormhole comprises of exotic matters yet the effective mass remains positive. We have calculated the effective mass of the wormhole up to 8 km from the throat (assuming throat radius as 4 km) as $1.3559M_\odot $. Some physical features are briefly discussed.

Lean manufacturing is a conceptual framework based on a few established principles and techniques and a systematic approach to identifying and eliminating waste through continuous improvement by flowing the product. The implementation of Lean Manufacturing starts with the development of Value Stream Maps. A value stream mapping is a pencil and paper visualisation tool that shows the flow of material and information as a product makes its way through the stream. The aim of this study is to increase efficiency by using lean manufacturing techniques in the finish line of denim trousers that model diversity is very high. First of all current state of the production lines have been analysed and after that future state map was prepared and lines have organized with the lean manufacturing techniques. As a result it has been acquired some improvements at the productivity, quality and lead time.

The Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sector has played the most momentous role for the economic development of Bangladesh. To achieve the culmination, this labor-intensive industry needs to go through sustainable practices with the adoption of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in its garment manufacturing chain. CSR, being a fast-developing phenomenon in industrial arena, is drawing the attention of world-renowned apparel buyers working with Bangladesh. After a few tragic occurrences, for instance, Rana Plaza collapse & Tazreen Fashion fire, the reputation of the RMG sector of Bangladesh has been somewhat blemished. Presently, this scenario is being changed since a considerable number of Bangladeshi garment producers have adopted CSR practices spending a huge sum of money. This study shows the current status of sustainable development through the implementation of CSR practices in the RMG industry of Bangladesh.

The sustainability of textile materials has gained much attention due to the resource consumption and pollutant emissions at present time. So it is very essential and core requirement to evaluate the environmental effect of textiles from a life cycle perspective to develop the sustainability of textiles. Environmental issues have becoming important over the last few years because of increasing pollutions, waste materials, global warming etc. The consumers have also started to demand green products. As a result of these events, more strategic and systematic approaches are necessary for changing environmental issues. Life Cycle Analysis or Assessment (LCA) is one of the tools to meet this necessity. In this paper, we are analyzing the LCA of a ‘Lungi’, also known as a ‘ sarong ’ and scientifically evaluating the environmental impacts as well as resource utilization to produce, from raw materials to the disposal of the product at the end of life.
