Flapjacks are a staple comfort food in British culture. A national treasure!

Flapjackery aims to become the most recognisable flapjack brand in the UK. With an extensive award-winning range of flavours and vegan options, they have a flapjack for everyone.

Having seen recent rapid growth, the business had transformed from a single market stall to a successful independent retailer with specialist shops throughout the Southwest. But their identity was prohibiting them from attracting a broader customer base.

Embracing Flapjackery’s uniquely British nature, we strengthened existing assets. Treating the Union Flag like flapjack, we played with sliced forms and angles to echo the cut product; and for a touch of luxury we introduced a new FJ monogram, creating a more cohesive, ownable brand with a reassuringly homely appeal.

Working with Buddy Creative has been a truly collaborative experience. They understood our vision for Flapjackery and translated it into a design that feels bold, authentic, and full of personality—just like our flapjacks. Their creativity and attention to detail have helped us celebrate our brand heritage while looking confidently to the future.
