Les traités de paix de Versailles marquant la fin de la Grande Guerre ont créé de tensions extrêm... more Les traités de paix de Versailles marquant la fin de la Grande Guerre ont créé de tensions extrêmes entre les deux parties belligérantes. Dans le cas de la Hongrie, la perte de la majeure partie de l’État historique a engendré l’émergence de la droite politique chrétienne et conservatrice qui dominait largement et la vie politique et le discours public tout au long de la période d’entre-deux-guerres. Par conséquent son idéologie irrédentiste et nationaliste imprégnait la vie quotidienne à plusieurs niveaux. L’enseignement de l’histoire était aussi profondément influencé par la propagande et les intérêts politiques. Étant donné que la France jouait un rôle décisif dans la détermination des conditions de paix fixées pour la Hongrie dans le traité de Trianon, il est très pertinent de s’interroger à quel point ce rôle politique a influencé l’image ou l’appréciation de la civilisation française en Hongrie. Notre question centrale est la suivante : Les manuels lycées dans l’entre-deux-guerres en Hongrie avaient-ils encouragé une attitude hostile envers les Français, et quelle était l’image de la France et de la civilisation française qu’ils véhiculaient ? Pour comprendre les phénomènes sous-jacents, nous nous sommes appuyés sur des théories sur l’identité nationale, et nous nous aborderons le sujet des origines culturelles, et des différentes régions de l’Europe. Le résultat de l’analyse peut nous surprendre dans la mesure où les textes des manuels manquent toute attitude hostile envers la France contrairement à ce qu’on aurait pu présupposée. Les passages consacrés au Moyen Age et à l’Epoque Moderne sont les plus particulièrement favorables pour la France. De plus, la civilisation française est représentée comme étalon des valeurs culturelles. Ces valeurs sont présentées comme piliers élémentaires de la « culture/civilisation de l’Europe Occidentale ». Or, pour l’élite culturelle et politique hongrois et notamment pour ceux qui se trouvaient derrière des manuels, la démonstration de l’appartenance de la Hongrie à l’Ouest, en opposition à l’Est, s’avérait une question cruciale. C’est la raison pour laquelle l’image de la France ou la représentation des relations franco-hongroises ne sont ni déformées ni négligées dans les manuels d’histoire de l’époque : ils ne sont pas directement influencées par l’actualité politique. Nous proposons donc une distinction entre l’aspect politique et l’aspect culturel qui explique la mise en évidence des valeurs de ce dernier, même dans une situation politique extrêmement tendue.

Ce travail examinera les changements suivant 1989 indiqués dans le domaine de l’éducation, notamm... more Ce travail examinera les changements suivant 1989 indiqués dans le domaine de l’éducation, notamment l’enseignement des langues, se focalisant sur l’enseignement du français langue étrangère (FLE par la suite). Ensuite nous placerons l’étude des langues étrangères, leur proportion et leurs besoins, dans le contexte du changement de régime, mais aussi des phénomènes européens et mondiaux qui les influençaient. Quand le rideau de fer est tombé, des nouvelles portes se sont ouvertes sur le plan international, ce qui rend l’époque qui a suivi la chute du mur de Berlin et la dislocation du bloc communiste particulièrement intéressante à examiner du point de vue de l’enseignement des langues étrangères, notamment de la langue française. Les changements ont été nombreux, et il est donc naturel de se poser des questions quant aux acquis, à la direction et à la nature de ces changements.

At the same time, it is also a publication dedicated to two of TEMA's professors, Lud'a Klusáková and Gábor Czoch, in honour of their constant dedication to teaching, to research, and above all, to their students.
