BsubCyc Overview
BsubCyc is a model-organism database for the bacterium Bacillus subtilis 168. The database was originally based on the genome sequence and annotation published in 2009 [Barbe09], and was updated to reflect changes released in [Borriss18] and [Bremer23]. BsubCyc data content is described here. Gene function annotations are updated periodically based on new literature.
BsubCyc is also part of the larger BioCyc collection of thousands of Pathway/Genome Databases for sequenced genomes, including more than 60 B. subtilis strains. Click the "Change Current Database" button above to explore the available databases.
