home repair + diy classes for everyone

Feeling clueless about fixing things around the house? Do wires and saws make your head spin? You’re not alone! Many of us haven’t had the chance to learn handyperson skills. We’re here to change that.

We now offer classes covering basic home repair and do-it-yourself skills year-round. Our experienced instructors guide participants step-by-step through basic repairs you might encounter in any home or apartment. Broken down into easy-to-understand chunks, using simple language and plenty of hands-on practice, we’ll have you tackling that to-do list in no time. No more relying on pricey repair services for leaky faucets or wobbly shelves!

Classes are hosted in our Community Education Workshop located in Building 5 at the end of our yard alley. To find it, walk down the alley past the Glass Station, metal-land, and take a left towards masonry. There you will find a bright green building with a large bay door.
