Recycling at Home
Oregon’s recycling system got a major upgrade with the implementation of the Recycling Modernization Act (RMA) in July 2025.
The RMA is designed to make recycling more consistent across Oregon, improve the way recyclable materials are collected and processed, and require producers of packaging, paper products, and food serviceware to help pay for the recycling system.
For Lane County residents, that means clearer recycling guidance and an expanded list of materials that can be recycled. Learn more here.

Recycle More at BRING
BRING is proud to be an official RecycleOn Center, providing Lane County residents with a free place to recycle additional materials that don’t belong in your curbside recycling bin.
RecycleOn Centers are part of Oregon’s modernized recycling system and are designed to make it easier to recover materials that have traditionally been difficult to recycle. BRING’s RecycleOn Center is one piece of a larger recycling network in Lane County, which includes other RecycleOn Centers and transfer stations operated by Lane County Waste Management.
Hours: Open Monday – Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. Collection points are located in our donation drop-off area.
Bring these items to BRING’s RecycleOn Center:
- Plastic lids and caps — clean and dry lids from containers and screw-on caps from bottles, jugs, cartons, and other containers
- Rigid plastic package handles — including rigid six-pack and jug handles
- Plastic buckets and pails — including lids; no containers that held automotive fluids, pesticides, herbicides, or hazardous materials
- Plastic bags and stretchy plastic — clean and dry
- We do not have collection for Aluminum foil, Shredded & Paper, or Glass. Other Lane County RecycleOn Centers may accept these items.
Please bring materials empty, clean, and dry.
