If you are logged OUT of the app and would like to reset your password, please follow these steps:

Open the app and tap the “Log In or Sign Up” button that is available on the Discover page.
Type in your username or email address associated with your account and tap “Next”.
Tap the blue “Forgot your password?” link.
Tap “Get New Password”.
Open up your email app, find the latest reset password email from Bring a Trailer and tap the link inside.
Type in your new password twice and pay attention to the password strength meter – passwords need to be “Okay” or “Strong” in order to proceed.
Tap “Reset Password”. The app will reset your password and log you in.

If you have requested to reset your password more than once, please always use the latest / newest reset password email link that we have sent. Using a previous one will not allow you to reset your password and will result in an error.

If you are getting an error, please close the app, re-open it and follow the above steps again. If you’re still getting an error, please reach out to mail@bringatrailer.com and we can assist.

If you are logged IN to the app and would like to reset your password, please follow these steps:

Open the app and ensure you’re logged in.
Tap the “More” tap at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the “Account Information” link.
Next to “Basic Info”, tap “Edit”.
Enter your new password twice and pay attention to the password strength meter – passwords need to be “Okay” or “Strong” in order to proceed.
Tap “Save Changes”.
