it's all caffeine free, faux-punk fatique

I am so so sooo behind on my friendslist, and even further behind on help_haiti commissions.  I finished two today by dint of sitting in a cafe for 8 hours with my tablet.  A bunch of my friends and I had a lazy Saturday and brought drawing supplies, books, Korean homework, journals, letter paper and laptops and vegged on a cushioned floor in Cheonho.  It was delightful!  I had dok galbi for lunch (spicy rice and chicken and cheeeese) and a pizza for dinner (honey with blue and brie cheeeeese)...anyone sensing a theme? Plus I bought new sneakers! The new chucks with the cartoons on the side. Wheeee I love weekends! The last few have been crazy: two ski weekends, Shanghai, lunar new year, ice fishing, concerts and my birthday, and it's the end of semester so work is madness.  But I get a new couch tomorrow, and I'm going to Dr. Fish and a Do Make Say Think concert and a first book club meeting!  

There. Now you know enough about me to impersonate me on the internet, probably.

I have signed up over at help_haiti , where you can buy things from fellow fans with all the cash going to support the victims of the earthquake.  My post is here, but the whole community is full of delicious things to bid on.  The auction closes on January 20th, I believe, but I am going to draw a piece regardless for anyone donating over $25!  I will also match all the bids that I draw for, so really it's a win-win(-win, I think) situation.

Gosh, now that all the artists have been revealed I could finally reply to the fabulous comments that have been making me gleeface for so long.  yuletart  was such a fabulous fest with such a wide range of fandoms, from big ones like Merlin and Star Trek to little ones that I have never ever heard of. I would suggest again that you go and check out the awesomeness, but, well, if you have held out this long there just is no hope for you.

I am also tickled by the 99% completion rate. Wow, artists rock! Go us!

I know I have already said this, but for real: MCR art of your heeearrrtt. And it is ALL MINE. MIIIIINEEEE

This fest was full of artists who I now intend to stalk.  In particular though, this chilly world of warcraft one, this fairytale illustration in Merlin and this genderswap, this umbrella academy crossover comic, these two quiet moments with Temeraire and Excidium respectively, this LOST and MCR fusion and this girl from, err, the Fall, are some of my absolute favourites.  I am definitely missing some, but this entry has already been deleted twice, grrrg.

Here is my Star Trek Reboot OT3 art fo reflectedeve .  What I would really like is for someone to write this comic so that I could illustrate it.  Any takers?  Bueller?

Guyssss how much do I love yuletart  right now?  Not only are there so many fabulous pieces in so many fabulous fandoms that is like christmas every day, but some lovely dearheart has made a gorgeous MCR painting just for meeee! a PAINTING WHAT. for bandom_au based off of prompt #40: A future AU, where technology has turned against humans and people have to fight to survive.
So this is really just crack, and I drew it up before I even claimed the prompt (so that it wouldn't be late. This is my new strategy). I hope someone actually writes a fic for this prompt, because the idea is really cool and this is just silliness. Without anymore caveats, here is the real reason why Mikey is smelly!
